Whitehill Consulting Engineers was established in 1998.  Our focus is on water and wastewater treatment system design and operations consulting.  We are located in southeastern Pennsylvania and provide consulting services throughout the state.

Biographical Sketches of Key Personnel

Thomas J. Whitehill, P.E. - Founder and owner of Whitehill Consulting Engineers.

Education:  Bachelors degree in Environmental Resource Management (1980) and Masters degree in Environmental Pollution Control (1982) - The Pennsylvania State University.

Experience:  Sixteen years in water and wastewater system operations prior to forming Whitehill Consulting Engineers.  Formed WCE in 1998 providing engineering and operations consulting services to various clients.  Patent pending Recirculating Sand Filter/Constructed Wetland denitrification system.



John F. Davis, Ph. D., P.E. - Process Engineer

Education:  B.S., M. Engr., and Ph. D. degrees in Environmental Engineering - The Pennsylvania State University.

Experience:  Twenty three years experience in water pollution control and environmental modeling.  Directed research in the areas of water and wastewater treatment technology.  Authored publications in Water Environment Research, Separations Technology, and Aquatic Botany.



Brenda W. Petkunas, P.E. - Senior Project Engineer.

Education:  B.S. in Civil Engineering (1985) - The Pennsylvania State University.

Experience:  Seventeen years experience in environmental design and project management.  Projects included water and wastewater system planning and design.  Areas of expertise include permit application, bid specification and erosion/sedimentation plan preparation.
